Strength Vs. Courage!

I Like this quote I dislike this quoteA ship is safe in harbor, but that’s not what ships are for.

– William Shedd

Before I begin my sharing for today, let me thank the Lord for His protection this morning. I’m almost devoured by a very big,  pitbull dog while biking between Trace Martitez City and Naic Cavite. I cannot forget that unforgettable scene, that beast  attacked me in front and was about to jump to bite my neck or head perhaps. I have no choice but to continue pedalling my bike and face that animal. To retreat or to stop can be more fatal.

With God’s grace, that animal doesn’t jump to consume  me and I’m spared once again.

Maybe, the Lord has a purpose still for me. Thank God for Your lovingkindness!

It takes strength to be firm.

It takes courage to be gentle.

It takes strength to stand guard.

It takes courage to let down your guard.

It takes strength to conquer

It takes courage to surrender.

It takes strength to be certain.

It takes courage to have doubt.

It takes strength to fit in.

It takes courage to stand out.

It takes strength to feel a friend’s pain.

It takes courage to feel your own pain.

It takes strength to hide feelings.

It takes courage to show them.

It takes strength to endure abuse.

It takes courage to stop it.

It takes strength to stand alone.

It takes courage to lean on another.

It takes strength to love.

It takes courage to be loved.

It takes strength to survive.

It takes courage to live.

“….as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you
nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage….” (Joshua 1:5b-6a)
