Since 2 weeks ago, I already included brown rice in my daily diet and found the details below to be true.
Brown rice is rich in nutrients such as fiber, magnesium, selenium, vitamin B1, B3 and B6.
Important facts on the health benefits of brown rice:
1. A Healthy Heart
The fiber and magnesium found in brown rice reduce the risk of heart disease because they decrease blood pressure and blood coagulation. The essential oils present in the bran also decrease cholesterol, thus resulting in healthy cardiovascular system.
2. A More Controlled Blood Sugar Level
Fiber and magnesium can help in regulating blood sugar levels, making it ideal for diabetics.
3. Increased Energy
One cup of brown rice provides us with 88% of our daily intake of manganese which helps produce energy from protein and carbohydrates while the Vitamin B Complex present helps fuel our body by converting blood sugar into energy.
