Running From San Pedro Laguna To Naic Cavite….

Today, the farthest route in my entire life as a runner was finally set, and the distance? A whooping 49.28 kms based on my heart rate monitor. The route? San Pedro Laguna to Naic Cavite. The time? 5 hours and 45 minutes from 5am until 10:45am. Some data were: in zone 5.35, average hour 133, peak hour 210, minimum hour 57, total calories 3,375. We are all wearing milo singlets for uniformity and take note…we also have a race packet! That race packet helped a lot, for the motorists thought that there is a race going on, giving us some space and respect. It also served as our identification ID, for in it we wrote our contact number at home, just in case of emergency!

My companions were Bert and Romy. Here are some pictures of that event:

We ended the event here at the boundary of Sabang and Naic, some 500 meters away from the town proper due to very extreme hot weather condition…

Me at our own finish line….Hoorayyy! I endured the 5 hours and 45 minutes run with a 49.28 kms based on my Timex HRM.

AFTER THE RUN:

r2

Calling our loved ones…proclaiming the good news that we are CONQUERORS!

We’re eating like Monsters…

After running and eating…we are now ready to return home. It’s 11:30am already. I can’t believe that I can go far like this one. I’m exhausted, burned and wasted, but I’m happy and satisfied.

Next route…San Pedro to Tagaytay City!

Na missed ko na itong Cavite!!! I’m from Manggahan Gen Trias, and now nandito sa San Francisco.

Butch, thank you for a very nice comment about Cavite. Last week, we biked a 91 kms and we’re able to conquer different towns in Cavite including Gen. Trias.

Glad to know through my blog.
God bless.
