When I first conquered Baguio City through Adidas King Of The Road, I am so jolly then for I was able to achieve my time target of less than one hour for the 10 kilometer race. It was also a very challenging event, for the route is mostly trail and uphill. The Race started in the grassy Oval near Burnham Park to the Downtown, then to the Mansion all the way to Camp John Hay. It was a good run although the race started late due to zero visibility.

My exact time was 50 minutes 14 seconds and I’m planning to return again here this year and compete in the 21 kms Milo elimination.

Hi My son and I are coming to philippines in July August this year. We are both keen runners and will be going to Baguio for 3 days. Can you recommend any running routes for when we are there. Short or long , as i am training for a 2 day mountain marathon at present.

Hi Roger..I can recommend the Oval near Teachers camp for your short distance and the route to Camp John hay for the long distance. I’m not from baguio so I can only recommend what I think is best for you, maybe there are some good places out there. God bless.

i see Baguio is at a great elevation for high altitude training. Have elite Philippino runners trained there before?
